SOCIAL COUNSELLING SUPPORT WORKER (PART QUALIFICATION)
This short programme provides an essential foundation for individuals entering the field of social counselling support. It equips participants with the core knowledge and practical skills required to engage effectively in basic counselling contexts. Learners will explore the fundamentals of screening and assessment within the scope of counselling, gaining insight into how to identify client needs and determine appropriate support pathways. The module also develops basic counselling skills, including active listening, empathy, and effective communication, which are critical when working in problem-saturated situations. Emphasis is placed on professionalism and ethical compliance, ensuring that participants understand and uphold the ethical standards and boundaries that govern counselling practice. functions to individuals, raise awareness and refer to appropriate

The programme consists of:
• Facilitator led online knowledge modules
• Facilitator led online practical modules
• Workplace based learning modules
