Skills Development Practitioner
This programme equips aspiring and practicing Skills Development Practitioners with the essential knowledge and tools to drive impactful learning and development initiatives within the workplace. It covers the full spectrum of skills development facilitation (SDF) processes, from conducting comprehensive learning needs analyses to planning, implementing, and reporting on workplace learning strategies. Participants will explore the statutory and regulatory environment that governs skills development in South Africa, ensuring compliance with national frameworks such as the Skills Development Act and SETA requirements. Emphasis is placed on aligning learning interventions with organisational goals, evaluating their effectiveness, and producing actionable reports that support continuous workforce development. By the end of the programme, learners will be prepared to play a strategic role in fostering a culture of learning and growth within their organisation.
